Dave Ruch

Dave Ruch is a professional musician from the Buffalo area who travels regionally performing for audiences of children and adults. Working most of the time in the arts-in-education field these days, Dave has extensive experience performing and teaching archtop electric guitar, acoustic guitar, mandolin, 5-string banjo, dulcimer and more since 1980. He has performed in clubs from Toronto ON to Austin TX and with regionally- and nationally-known musicians in the folk, jazz, bluegrass and rock worlds. Dave is a founding member of The String Brothers and brings to the group a playful approach to the music, a supportive disposition on the bandstand, and a host of really nice ties.
