Kevin O'Brien

Kevin O’Brien is the owner and operator of The String Brothers.  If you are considering having The String Brothers perform at your event, he is the one who will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

Kevin also plays double bass and frequently performs at String Brothers’ events.  Through the years he has played and recorded in a wide range of styles with both regional and national bands.  He has performed bluegrass with Dempsey Station; folk-pop with The Jazzabels; blues with Shakin’ Smith; and fifties-style  rock-and-roll with the legendary Big Wheelie and The Hubcaps. 

For the past decade Kevin has focused his attention on The String Brothers.  What began as a guitar and bass duo has evolved into a network of the finest classical and jazz musicians in Western New York.  Kevin is honored to share the stage with all of the exceptionally talented musicians in The String Brothers.
