Alan Reed

Alan Reed   received his undergraduate Degree in Music Education from SUNY at Fredonia, and a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance from the University at Buffalo. As a string educator, Mr. Reed is entering his 20th year of teaching, currently teaching strings in the Orchard Park School District. He is a frequent performer at weddings and parties as a strolling violinist with his musical partner Joseph Mankowski. He has performed with the Buffalo Philharmonic, Erie Philharmonic, Chautauqua Symphony, Orchard Park Symphony, and Cheektowaga Symphony.  Alan has also performed in the orchestra with stars such as Sarah Brighton, Engelbert Humperdink, Dion Warwick, Lou Rawls, Mainheim Steamroller and others. He resides in West Seneca with his wife and three children.
